Author Mark Graban is the latest customer to take us up on this offer. He is capturing info for a new book that will be published in April 2012 and he is also using [KickoffLabs](https://kickofflabs.com to gauge interest in an audio book version of his first book. What I love about Mark is that he is championing the use of lean methodologies outside of the software industries. How could healthcare strive for continuous improvement?? Sign up Now and find out!
I’m the co-author of a new book that will be out in April 2012, called “Healthcare Kaizen: Engaging Front-Line Staff in Sustainable Continuous Improvements.” I wanted to use Kickoff Labs as a quick and easy way of setting up a web page that would allow me to collect email addresses of potential readers.
I’m also considering the production of audio book version of my first book “Lean Hospitals,” as I do get occasional requests for this. As Eric Ries says, in context of “Lean Startups,” there is no technical risk (I know I can create an audio book). The main question is market risk (how many people will buy it?). Kickoff Labs allows me to gauge the market interest so I can decide if I should move forward or not.
People who are willing to challenge conventional wisdom, whether that’s by bringing a new product to market or the healthcare professionals who are challenging “the way we’ve always done things” in their hospitals so they can improve patient care using Lean principles.
Make sure you test your ideas early with real customers. If you have an idea that fails, it’s better to learn this early rather than working for years on something that customers don’t want or need.
It was really quick and easy to get a page up and running. I appreciate the built in newsletter and communication features. Thanks for your service!
